A black hole looms for renewables funding
Submitted: 19 October 2005
The Renewable Power Association and Greenpeace today jointly urged the Government to plug the looming gap in DTI support for renewable energy technologies such as small biomass, solar photovoltaics (PV), micro wind, solar thermal and ground source heat pumps.
These low carbon technologies have a critical role to play in the fight against global warming, but their development is being undermined by the current stop-start approach to Government support
