"Our client is a European trading group with a growing portfolio in the alternative fuel market. With a substantial and successful business the team is well placed to take advantage of the enormous opportunities within the alternative fuels market. The Board is now seeking to strengthen the Non-Executive Team with the appointment of a strong Chairman.
"Our ideal candidate will possess an impressive track record gained in delivering value to institutional shareholders as a Non-Executive Director or Chairman. Experience gained as a Director of a petrochemical, trading or alternative energy business is preferred as is a track record in successfully building and listing businesses on the public markets; particularly on AIM. Alternatively experience gained in raising funds and taking companies to market as a financier may be relevant.

"The Chairman must be able to add value to the strong executive team from day one. He/she will have a hands-on, entrepreneurial style and the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with City investors, pre and post an envisaged AIM listing."
