CEO of Wet Renewables Energy Generation Technology Business
Submitted: 2 October 2006
Ruston Wheb's client is a well capitalised, early-stage, VC-backed technology business which has developed a proven wet renewables energy generation technology.
The Board are now seeking to attract a CEO to drive the business - successfully selling the technology into, and co-developing projects with, global utility firms, and managing all product /technical development activities.

The successful candidate for this role will have held a senior role developing energy projects. With a strong technical background, this individual will also possess the ability to sell energy generating capital equipment or will come out of a development role within one of the utilities. (S)he will also have a proven track record in business development and project delivery. Offshore renewables experience would be relevant, as would senior commercial experience gained within an equipment manufacturer in wind, solar, hydro, or CHP.

In addition to the technical and sales experience required for this position, the candidate may well be required to take a leading role in potential future fundraisings rounds, therefore experience dealing with investors and venture capitalists would be a considerable advantage.

This is an opportunity to head-up and take a stake in a highly promising early-stage renewable energy generation business. For more details and to apply please email your CV/queries to Ruston WHEB Search & Selection at

The closing date for applications is 2nd Oct. 2006.

Salary: Six-figure basic + options Based: SE England
