Embedded Generator briefing sessions
Submitted: 13 November 2006
Are you up to speed with key issues affecting smaller-scale power generation?

Most Distributed/Embedded generation issues are generic to small generators, and not specific to the generation technology concerned. A number of trade associations have grouped together to collectively represent their members’ interests on a number of industry/government panels, and to inform their members of key issues they should be aware of. Pooling the efforts of the collaborating trade associations should bring benefit to the combined memberships.

This work is supported by a contract with DTI. Some of the representational work is done by specialist consultants, some by trade association staff.

Two sets of dissemination meetings are taking place – the first in Autumn of 2006, and then Spring 2007. Attendance at these meetings is free of charge, and is open to all embedded and small-scale generators and project developers. It is not restricted to members of the participating trade associations.
