Joint AEP/EURELECTRIC Northern Europe Regional Seminar

The Association of Electricity Producers and EURELECTRIC are delighted to announce their joint conference �Renewable Energy in Europe � Removing Barriers, Developing Trading, Meeting Targets�. The two day conference will take place on 24 & 25 November 2005 at The Hilton Waldorf, London.
The conference will consider whether member states have created an environment to secure the massive increases in investment in renewables, needed to meet the targets in the Directive. Where have member states succeeded? Where can improvements be made? Speakers will consider the climate for investment across Northern Europe, and the mechanisms to support and facilitate the predicted growth in electricity from renewable sources.
The conference will follow the publication of the European Commission�s report on experiences with support schemes for renewables to date. Commission speakers will discuss the Commission�s report and provide insight into the Commission�s plans for the future.
