Roquette announces UK bioethanol project |

| REA Member, Roquette UK have announced they are seeking Joint Venture partners to develop a 95,000 tonne bioethanol refinery at their starch processing facility in Corby, Northamptonshire. The company aims for the plant to be operational in 2008. The plant is to be designed to allow eventual expansion to 190,000 tonnes capacity. |
| British Sugar and GreenSpirit Fuels have already announced plans to develop UK-based bioethanol production facilities totaling some 150,000 tonnes; addition of the first phase of the Roquette development will increase planned UK capacity to approximately 240,000 tonnes. |
