DTI announces intentions for 2007 Renewables Obligation |

There are no surprises regarding which changes should come into force in 2007. The document summarising the responses and setting out which of the proposals will be implemented are as proposed in the consultation, and were supported by the REA in its response to the Statutory Consultation.
We will, however, move back to the situation we had in 2004, where there were two pieces of legislation - the Order itself and a separate Statutory Instrument with the amendments. But helpfully, the DTI intends to publish on its website a more user-friendly consolidated order - a version of which can be accessed below.
