| The PM outlined his legislative agenda in a statement made on Wednesday 11 July. |
| A proposed Energy Bill will “provide greater incentives for renewable energy generation” and help the UK to ensure security of supply of energy, tackle climate change and target fuel poverty measures more effectively. |
Key announcements for environment include:
• Zero or low carbon housing
• Protect greenbelt land
• Legal framework for low carbon emissions
• Greater incentives for renewable energy
• Transport bill to tackle congestion |
