The Green Construction Summit |

Build sustainably – it’s your business |
With buildings accounting for 50% of the UK’s energy consumption, and the construction sector producing more waste than any other, the time has come for the industry to make a dramatic change.
Government targets to cut carbon emissions, reduce energy use, and improve resource effi ciency are putting pressure on all links of the supply chain. But it’s not just about compliance. It is becoming increasingly clear that green building practices make business sense. Sustainability is the single most important issue that the industry will face over the years to come. |
In response, Construction News has launched a two-day summit to discuss the most relevant green issues, and the practical steps to overcome them. The Green Construction Summit will offer keynote presentations, followed by streamed sessions looking specifically at recycling, materials, waste, low carbon buildings, planning and energy efficiency.
Featuring a presentation from REA's Philip Wolfe
