RPA responds to DTI's Innovation review reports
Submitted:19November2003
The Renewables Innovation Review team has held a number of consultation workshops to seek the views of major stakeholders on what more the Government must do to meet its renewables target (10% of electricity from renewable sources by 2010), its aspiration (20% of electricity from renewable sources by 2020) and ensure that renewables plays an appropriate part in achieving the wider carbon emission reduction aspiration (60% reduction by 2050 and real progress by 2020).

Half-day workshops on wind, wave/tidal, fuel cells, biomass and solar were held in DTI's FutureFocus suite. Each workshop was asked to address a number of questions.

The reports of these workshops can be accessed from the link below along with a link to the RPA's response.
