| Auction again delivers record ROC pricesThe latest NFPAS auction of Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) from generating stations holding SRO contracts was completed today, 21 July 2004. Over 176,000 ROCs were purchased at an average price of �52.07.This represents a record high for the ROC auction, the previous highest average price being �49.11, and reinforces the reputation of the auction process in delivering value.Over �9 million will be returned to the Scottish Fossil Fuel Levy as a result of this auction. |
