David successfully campaigned for changes to government categorisation of Anaerobic Digestion in Best Value and Waste Hierarchy. He has been a consultant to RPA member Greenfinch Ltd, assisting in building biogas plants near Dumfries and an advisor to Sustainable Energy Action, Southwark, London, in developing Biogas plant linked to district heating system in Aylesbury Estate. He is a Research Fellow of City University and a contributor to Croners Energy Management Briefing.
He was the author of a study for the Greater London Authority titled �Anaerobic Digestion of Household Waste; A Pactical Renewable Energy Option for London?�. This paper was the winner of Bromley Council Environmental Awards 2002 for "Exceptional Commitment to the Environment."
Davids initial tasks are to recruit more AD members into the RPA, as described in the attached article, to be published in the 2005 edition of UK Power.
