Solar Power Pioneer in Mile End

In an exciting development for London�s East End, Tower Hamlets Council has given The Environment Trust and its partners planning permission to construct the UK�s first solar power station.
This will take the form of a canopy constructed with solar photovoltaic panels, covering a go-kart track in Mile End Park, the innovative urban regeneration project near Canary Wharf.
The Trust has just issued a press release announcing this development and it is attached below, for your information, together with a drawing that illustrates the project.
